BTS leader RM (Kim Namjoon) has picked Switzerland as his first international destination after completing his military service earlier this month.
Fans believe this trip will help him relax and heal, especially after he recently opened up about struggling with severe insomnia and anxiety during his time in the military.
RM shared photos from Basel, Switzerland, posting a picture from Barfüsserplatz, the city’s central square, on his Instagram story. His visit comes ahead of a special talk session at Art Basel on June 18.
RM was recently chosen as a global ambassador for a well-known electronics brand’s Art TV collection because of his deep passion for the arts.
Fans, known as ARMYs, think Switzerland is the ideal choice for RM. The country’s calm landscapes and rich art scene perfectly match his personality and interests.

During a recent live broadcast, RM spoke openly about his mental health struggles, including nights where he couldn’t sleep for up to 78 hours. He also shared that he sought psychiatric help and medication to cope.
