BTS leader RM’s first solo documentary, RM: Right People, Wrong Place, premiered globally on Thursday. The film is now available in approximately 110 countries, including Korea, the United States, France, Mexico, and Indonesia.

The documentary focuses on the creation of RM’s second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, highlighting his journey to balance his identity as both BTS’ leader and as Kim Nam-joon, the person behind the artist.

BigHit Music describes the film as an honest reflection of RM’s passions and personal struggles, with the artist personally selecting the staff to bring his vision to life. Throughout the film, RM opens up about his journey towards self-love, sharing his belief that true change comes from being honest with oneself.

The 79-minute film features behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and intimate moments that show RM’s creative process as he works on his album, all while navigating his desire to connect with his true self.

RM, who began his mandatory military service in December 2023, is expected to complete it in June 2025.
