Apple is reportedly gearing up for the release of iOS 18.4 in April, with several key updates expected to enhance user experience.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, while the beta cycle for iOS 18.4 hasn’t started yet, here’s a look at some of the rumored features:

Major Siri Upgrades iOS 18.4 is expected to bring three significant improvements to Siri, Apple’s voice assistant, taking it into the next phase of Apple Intelligence. These updates include:

    • Personal Context: Siri will better understand your context, making it more personalized.
    • On-Screen Awareness: Siri will be able to interact with what’s displayed on your screen.
    • App Integration: Siri will gain the ability to tap into apps for more seamless actions.

Expanded Language Support Apple is also set to roll out additional language support for Apple Intelligence in April 2025, with more languages becoming available throughout the year.

Some of the languages expected to be supported include:

    • Chinese
    • English (India, Singapore)
    • French, German, Italian
    • Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish
    • Vietnamese, and more

New Emojis As part of its spring updates, Apple is likely to introduce new emojis in iOS 18.4, based on the Unicode Consortium’s latest release. New additions include:

    • Fingerprint
    • Face with bags under eyes
    • Harp
    • Root vegetable
    • Leafless tree
    • Splatter
    • Shovel

With these enhancements, iOS 18.4 is shaping up to be an exciting update for Apple users.
