Apple has honored the life of Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States, following his death at the age of 100.
The tech giant updated its homepage with a full-page tribute to Carter, celebrating his extraordinary life from 1924 to 2024, accompanied by a black-and-white image.
Apple CEO Tim Cook also paid tribute to Carter on social media, stating, “Today, we honor President Carter’s lifetime of service and his commitment to leaving the world better than he found it. May he rest in peace.”
Carter’s official state funeral will take place in Washington, DC, on January 9, with President Biden declaring it a national day of mourning.
Flags will be flown at half-mast for 30 days in honor of the late president.
