Marvel Studios recently changed the title of Captain America 4 from New World Order to Brave New World.
This decision came after feedback that the original title had political meanings that made some people uncomfortable.
Marvel Studios executive Nate Moore explained that the title New World Order was meant to describe the fictional conflict in the movie, not real-world politics.
Harrison Ford, who plays President Ross in the movie, added that the film is not about real-life politics. He joked, saying, “We haven’t had a President who can turn into a Hulk yet.”
The story focuses on Captain America dealing with a fictional conspiracy, not real-world issues.
Anthony Mackie, who stars as Captain America, also addressed the movie’s reshoots. He said the reshoots didnโt change the plot.
According to Mackie, reshoots are normal in Marvel movies. They help improve the movie, but the story stays the same.
The film’s new title, Brave New World, reflects the movie’s focus on fictional events. It centers around President Ross turning into the Red Hulk and a hidden villain pulling the strings behind the scenes.
Fans can look forward to Captain America: Brave New World, which is set to release on February 14, 2025.
