ESPN has reached a deal with TNT Sports to exclusively air Inside the NBA starting in the 2025-26 NBA season.

This comes as part of ESPN’s 11-year rights extension with the NBA, announced in July. TNT Sports will continue to produce Inside the NBA from its Atlanta studios.

The iconic show will be featured around major live events on ESPN and ABC, including the NBA Finals, Conference Finals, NBA Playoffs, Christmas Day, opening week, and other high-profile games. The move expands ESPN’s NBA coverage, which already includes NBA Countdown and NBA Today.

Inside the NBA, which debuted in 1989, is celebrated for its impactful and entertaining analysis, having won 21 Sports Emmy Awards and received the Naismith Hall of Fame’s Curt Gowdy Transformative Media Award in 2020.

As part of the partnership, ESPN will continue to air NBA Countdown and NBA Today, hosted by Malika Andrews and featuring analysts like Stephen A. Smith and Kendrick Perkins.

TNT Sports will also broadcast exclusive Big 12 football and men’s basketball games starting in 2025.
