YouTube TV users can breathe a sigh of relief as the streaming platform and Paramount reached a deal to continue carrying CBS, CBS Sports, and other Paramount channels.

This agreement ensures that popular events like March Madness and The Masters, which are broadcast on CBS, will remain available to viewers who use YouTube TV.

In a statement, YouTube TV announced, “Members, we’re happy to share that we’ve reached a deal to continue carrying Paramount content on YouTube TV.”

This deal also ensures that channels like Nickelodeon and add-ons like Paramount+ with SHOWTIME and BET+ will not be interrupted.

Earlier in the week, YouTube TV warned that it might lose access to Paramount’s channels just weeks before major sports events were set to air.

This caused panic among college basketball and golf fans, as well as viewers who enjoy NFL games on CBS.

The deal follows a short-term extension reached on Thursday, and the full deal was finalized by Friday.
