Xiaomi is set to release its latest Pad 7 tablet globally, with an initial launch in India on January 10, 2025.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 is touted as an affordable flagship device, offering impressive performance and features at a mid-range price.

Powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, the tablet features a 3.2K LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, making it a strong contender in the affordable tablet market.

The 11.2-inch screen is complemented by support for Xiaomi’s first-party stylus and keyboard cover, which will be available alongside the global edition of the device.

While the tablet may appear less powerful compared to its Snapdragon 870-powered predecessor, it still promises excellent value for money, especially with the higher-than-average refresh rate.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 will come with HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15, and will offer up to 12GB of RAM, as confirmed by a recent Geekbench listing.

The tablet is expected to be available through Amazon in India, but it remains unclear whether the Pro version, with a more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, will launch alongside the base model.
