WhatsApp is rolling out a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, version 2.25.1.27, which introduces a new feature currently under development: the Meta AI Widget.

    Here’s a breakdown of what’s new:

    Meta AI Widget

Feature Overview: WhatsApp is working on a widget that will allow users to access Meta AI directly from their Home Screen. This widget will provide an easy and quick way to start conversations with Meta AI without opening the WhatsApp app.

Availability: The feature is still under development, so it’s not available for beta testers yet. However, a preview has been shared, and it will be available in a future update.

How It Works: The widget will offer:

    • Quick Access: A shortcut to initiate a conversation with Meta AI, allowing users to ask questions, request assistance, or engage with the AI.
    • Photo Sharing: A feature to instantly capture and share a photo with Meta AI. Users can ask the AI to edit or analyze the image.

Compatibility: The widget will only be available for users who already have access to AI-powered chats, which are currently limited to certain regions and select users.

    What’s Coming Next?

The Meta AI Widget is designed to make interactions with Meta AI more accessible and efficient. It will eliminate the need to open the app and navigate through its interface, providing a more intuitive way to interact with AI tools.

WhatsApp is also working on other features, such as a dedicated tab for AI-powered chats that will allow users to access AI tools directly from the navigation bar.

This new feature promises to enhance the convenience of using AI tools within WhatsApp, making it easier for users to interact with Meta AI and streamline their experience. Keep an eye out for future updates as WhatsApp continues to improve its AI integration.
