UFC Apex Becomes Meta APEX as Tech Giant Expands Partnership

Meta has acquired the naming rights to the UFC’s Las Vegas-based Apex Center. The venue will now be known as Meta APEX, marking a major expansion of the tech company’s partnership with the UFC.

The deal was announced as the Apex Center prepares to open ticket sales to the public for the first time. Until now, events at the venue were largely closed to general fans.

The move builds on a multi-year partnership between UFC and Meta that began in April 2025. That agreement brought Meta AI, Meta Quest, and Meta smart glasses into UFC events.

The Apex Center is currently undergoing major renovations. Upgrades include 1,000 new seats, expanded concessions, and premium lounge areas for fans.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, a longtime mixed martial arts fan, has taken a hands-on interest in the sport. His relationship with UFC leadership runs deep.

UFC CEO Dana White joined Meta’s board of directors last year. Ferrari chairperson John Elkann also serves on the board, highlighting Meta’s growing influence beyond tech.

Under the naming agreement, Meta branding will appear throughout the venue. All Meta APEX events will now be available to the general public.

The partnership comes as UFC continues to grow in popularity. Zuckerberg recently drew attention online after sparring with former UFC champion Merab Dvalishvili, further fueling interest in the Meta–UFC connection.
