Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the upcoming game set in feudal Japan, will be delayed once again.
Originally scheduled for a February 14th release, the game will now launch on March 20, 2025.
The delay is described as a “strategic update,” with Ubisoft citing a renewed focus on gameplay quality and Day-1 experiences.
The extra month of development will allow the team to incorporate player feedback from the past three months, ensuring a smoother launch.
This marks the second delay for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, as it was initially set to release on November 15th before being pushed back.
Ubisoft also mentioned appointing advisors to explore various strategic options for the company.
