    The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye)

The Weeknd performed a one-night-only live-streamed concert in São Paulo last night. Here’s the breakdown.

Held at Estádio MorumBIS on September 7, the show kicked off a new era in The Weeknd’s career. Fresh from his ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ tour, the gig featured a mixed setlist and fresh production. A portion of ticket sales was donated to the XO Humanitarian Fund to combat global hunger.

With 75,000 fans in the stadium and millions watching online, The Weeknd performed his biggest hits and debuted eight new tracks from his upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow. He also teased new music earlier this year, building hype for this release.

Here’s the full setlist from The Weeknd’s São Paulo show:

    1. The Crowd
    2. Fades to Black / Run Away (unreleased)
    3. Wake Me Up (unreleased)
    4. After Hours
    5. Too Late
    6. Take My Breath
    7. Sacrifice (Swedish House Mafia remix)
    8. How Do I Make You Love Me?
    9. Escape from LA
    10. Take Me Back to LA (unreleased)
    11. Dancing in the Flames (unreleased)
    12. Until I Bleed Out
    13. FE!N (Travis Scott cover with Playboi Carti)
    14. TIMELESS (Playboi Carti cover with Playboi Carti)
    15. São Paulo (unreleased, with Anitta)
    16. Heartless
    17. Let’s End It All (unreleased)
    18. Run Away (unreleased)
    19. Save Your Tears
    20. Less Than Zero
    21. Blinding Lights
    22. Hurry Up Tomorrow (unreleased)

The Weeknd’s upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow will be the final chapter in his After Hours trilogy. It’s his first full-length release since 2022’s Dawn FM, which earned rave reviews, with NME praising it as a step towards self-discovery and inner peace.
