Karol G has announced a new tour shortly after making history at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The Colombian artist revealed the news during her second headline performance on 19 April.
She became the first Latin woman to headline the festival in its 27-year history. The announcement appeared on screens during her closing performance, confirming that she will return to the road soon.
During her set, Karol G was joined by several guest artists. These included Peso Pluma, Becky G, J Balvin and Ryan Castro. The performances highlighted some of her most popular collaborations.
Her first weekend show also featured appearances from Mariah Angeliq, Wisin and Greg Gonzalez, along with other musicians.
The upcoming tour will support her latest album, Tropicoqueta. Full dates and venues have not yet been announced.
It will follow her previous tour, Mañana Será Bonito, which achieved strong commercial success. The tour grossed more than $300 million and sold over two million tickets across 65 shows.
Speaking to the audience, Karol G said her performance marked an important moment for Latin artists. She said it reflected the contribution of many performers who came before her.
Further details about the tour are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
