Armie Hammer stars in The Dark Knight, a vigilante thriller from director Uwe Boll, where he plays Sanders, a man on a mission to dispense justice by hunting down criminals.
A first-look image from the film has been unveiled, showcasing Hammer in a violent, action-packed role.
Set in Zagreb, Croatia, the film also stars Costas Mandylor as Interpol officer Henry, tasked with bringing Sanders to justice.
Mandylor, known for his role in the Saw franchise, reunites with Boll following their collaboration on Run, which just finished post-production.
Boll expressed excitement about the dynamic between Hammer and Mandylor, stating that Mandylor’s performance adds great depth to the film.
In addition to the feature film, The Dark Knight is expanding into the gaming world, with a video game being developed in collaboration with Polygon Art.
While the film is still shooting in Croatia, post-production has begun in Santa Monica, with Boll’s regular editor Ethan Maniquis working on the first cut.
The film is expected to add to Boll’s growing catalog of action thrillers and will be complemented by his recent hit First Shift, currently streaming on Paramount+.
