In a recent development, two popular Telegram-based games, Tapswap and Yescoin, have announced plans to launch their own tokens on The Open Network (TON).

This move comes as the popularity of clicker games on Telegram continues to surge, with users seeking bigger returns by simply tapping their screens.

Tapswap, which initially planned to integrate with Solana, has decided to move to TON, citing it as the “best option for delivering the ultimate experience for our growing community.”

The game rewards users for tapping the screens of their phones or computers, with rules and limits on the number of tokens that can be tapped based on the level reached. Tapswap claims to have over 50 million players.

Yescoin, on the other hand, introduces a varied twist to the Telegram clicker game format. Players accumulate in-game coins through screen swipes, all wrapped in a charming lo-fi pixel design, while using coins for various upgrades and bonuses. Yescoin has successfully gathered around 18 million users in just over a month.

The plans by Tapswap and Yescoin come after the success of Notcoin, a TON-based tap-to-earn game that reached 35 million users within five months. Hamster Kombat, another tap-to-earn Telegram-based crypto game, has also gained significant traction, with over 100 million users.

The Open Network has seen a surge in apps building on the platform, with Telegram mini-apps like Notcoin and Hamster Kombat growing quickly because users don’t need to install them on their devices. The company’s CEO, Pavel Durov, recently stated that mini-apps like these grow quickly because users don’t need to install them on their devices.

The token launches by Tapswap and Yescoin are expected to further fuel the growth of the Telegram gaming ecosystem. The success of these games and the growing popularity of TON are likely to continue driving the adoption of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies within the gaming space.
