‘Squid Game’ Star Lee Jung-jae Leads Light Rom-Com 'Nice to Not Meet You' on Prime Video

Lee Jung-jae, famous for his role in Squid Game, is starring in a new romantic comedy series called Nice To Not Meet You on Prime Video. He stars alongside Lim Ji-yeon, known for The Glory.

In this series, Lee plays Lim Hyeon-jun, a popular actor known for his detective role who wants to move on to more emotional melodramas. Lim Ji-yeon plays a skilled political journalist who is suddenly reassigned to cover entertainment. Their characters clash at first but soon develop unexpected chemistry filled with charm and laughter.

The show is set in the entertainment world and promises a light, fun story. It is directed by Kim Ga-ram and written by Jung Yeo-rang. Studio Dragon and Studio&NEW are producing the series. Prime Video will stream it worldwide, except in South Korea, where it will air on the local TV network TVN.

Nice To Not Meet You joins other Korean series on Prime Video like Head Over Heels and Good Boy.

Lee Jung-jae recently finished his role in the final season of Squid Game, which ended in June 2025.
