Marvel’s Amazing Spider-Man #65 delivers one of the most emotional chapters in the 8 Deaths of Spider-Man storyline.

Written by Joe Kelly and illustrated by Carlos Alberto Fernández Urbano, this issue forces Peter Parker to endure unimaginable loss, pushing him to his limits in the fight to save Earth.

    The Story So Far

The saga began with Doctor Doom, now Sorcerer Supreme, choosing Spider-Man to defend Earth against the Eight Scions of Cyttorak.

To aid him, Spider-Man was given magical armor and eight life-restoring Reeds of Raggadorr. Each death brings him closer to losing everything.

    So far, Spider-Man has faced:

    • Cyntros, who killed him by spaghettification.
    • Cyperion, who dissolved him atomically.
    • Cyrios, who split his consciousness across time.

Despite these brutal deaths, Spider-Man has persevered. But the latest challenge from Cyra may have broken him.

Cyra’s Trial: A Test of Pain and Loss

In Cyra’s trial, Spider-Man had to hold a crimson sphere that revealed devastating truths: the potential deaths of everyone he loves.

Over eight pages, he witnessed the heartbreaking fates of Aunt May, Mary Jane, J. Jonah Jameson, and more. Each death left Spider-Man powerless and grieving, as he felt the weight of their loss.

Cyra’s challenge wasn’t just physical—it was emotional. She forced Spider-Man to confront the fleeting nature of life and the insignificance of individual impact in the grand scheme of the universe.

    The Aftermath

Though Spider-Man survived Cyra’s trial, it came at a cost. Something inside Peter Parker broke, and he declared, “I quit.” With three Scions still to face, the stakes have never been higher, and Peter’s resolve is wavering.

    What’s Next?

The 8 Deaths of Spider-Man continues to push Peter Parker to his limits. Will he find the strength to keep fighting, or will the weight of his losses prove too much?

#65 is available now, promising an emotional and action-packed continuation of this epic saga.
