If Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men return in Spider-Man 4, Marvel needs to make a significant change from their No Way Home appearance.
While their return in No Way Home was a huge moment, it didn’t do justice to the legacy of these two iconic Spider-Men.
Their introduction, though exciting, was underwhelming. They simply walked into Ned Leeds’ living room, which felt like a missed opportunity for a more dynamic scene.
Spider-Man 4 should give Maguire and Garfield a much grander return. Instead of another comedic, dialogue-heavy moment, their entry could be an epic action sequence that highlights their abilities, fighting styles, and iconic costumes.
This would allow the film to fully embrace their musical themes, which No Way Home only touched on briefly.
The original plans for No Way Home hinted at a more action-packed introduction, with America Chavez potentially playing a role in the multiversal chaos.
Given that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness established Chavez’s powers, Spider-Man 4 could make this vision a reality, offering a thrilling, action-driven return for the beloved Spider-Men.
