Snoop Dogg recently joined DJ Akademiks on his broadcast to address past misunderstandings and promote unity within the hip-hop community. The rapper expressed his desire to bring people together, emphasizing the importance of collaboration over conflict.

“Too many times we see people apart, and I just want to see people together,” Snoop said. He praised Akademiks for inspiring others with his platform, encouraging him to use it to foster unity.

“It’s about showing people how to move as a unit rather than against each other because we’ve seen enough of that. It ends up with death and jail, and I don’t like it.”

Snoop also reflected on his personal experiences, including his own high-profile murder trial, which he credits with shaping his perspective.

“I went through a murder case. I understand what these artists are going through. I was blessed to beat mine, and I changed my life. That’s the example I try to set,” he said, urging others to use their platforms to offer hope and guidance to younger generations.

The conversation was facilitated by Wack 100, who recently discussed other controversies with Akademiks.

Snoop’s call was a heartfelt appeal for change in a culture often marred by division, underscoring his role as a mentor and advocate for peace in hip-hop.
