    Samsung’s May 2025 Security Update: Full List of Devices

    Samsung has unveiled the updated One UI software rollout plan for May 2025, detailing the security update schedules for various Galaxy devices.

    The update introduces some changes from April 2025, including the addition and removal of certain models in the Monthly, Quarterly, and Biannual categories.

    Monthly Security Updates

    The Monthly Security Update list remains unchanged from April 2025. Key devices like the Galaxy Z Fold series, Galaxy S series, and Galaxy A56 5G are included.

    Enterprise models such as the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy XCover7 continue to receive these updates.

    Devices on the Monthly Security Update List:

    • Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, Z Flip5, Z Fold6, Z Flip6
    • Galaxy S21 FE, S22, S23, S24 series
    • Galaxy A56 5G
    • Enterprise Models: Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A54 5G, Galaxy XCover6 Pro, Galaxy XCover7

    Quarterly Security Updates

    For Quarterly updates, Samsung added the Galaxy A26 5G to the list, while removing the Galaxy A52 and XCover Pro. This list now includes 88 devices, with various Galaxy S, Note, A, M, and Tab series models.

    Devices on the Quarterly Security Update List:

    • Galaxy S20 FE, S21 series, Note20 series
    • Galaxy A-series from A13 to A36 5G
    • Galaxy M-series models like M13, M23, M33, M53
    • Galaxy Tab models such as Tab S6 Lite (2024), Tab S8 series, Tab S9 series
    • Enterprise Models: Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy Tab Active3, Galaxy XCover5

    Biannual Security Updates

    The Biannual update list saw the removal of the Galaxy A82 5G, reducing the number of supported devices to 20. This category typically includes older, entry-level, or mid-range models.

    Devices on the Biannual Security Update List:

    • Galaxy A22, A03 series, Galaxy M21, M22
    • Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, Tab A8
    • Galaxy W22 5G

    Changes from April 2025:

    • Removed: Galaxy A52 and XCover Pro from Quarterly updates
    • Added: Galaxy A26 5G to Quarterly updates
    • Removed: Galaxy A82 5G from Biannual updates

    Samsung’s May 2025 update plan continues to ensure timely security patches across a wide range of devices, providing users with improved software stability and security.
