Samsung is rolling out new updates for its One UI 7 Beta program, with the second beta expected today for the Galaxy S24 series.

The beta program, which began on December 5, is expanding to India and Poland, marking the start of Beta 2 for Wave II markets.

The release schedule for the upcoming updates is as follows:

  • Beta 2: December 16 (Wave I markets) / December 23 (Wave II markets)
  • Beta 3: December 23 (Wave I markets) / December 30 (Wave II markets)
  • Beta 4: December 30 (Wave I markets)

The rollout in India and Poland will be the first for Wave II countries. Samsung’s support teams have been working on addressing battery drain issues reported by users, especially in Beta 2, with users experiencing significant drops in battery efficiency compared to One UI 6.1. Samsung has encouraged users to report issues through the Samsung Members app.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 4 series in the U.S. is receiving the stable One UI 6 Watch update, which introduces new features like Sleep Apnea detection, Energy Score, and Suggested Replies for messaging apps.

The update is based on Wear OS 5 and brings enhancements like AI-powered health monitoring and personalized energy scores based on sleep data and other health metrics.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series will feature an updated One UI 7 Now Bar, powered by the Personal Data Engine for enhanced privacy and personalized experiences.

This AI-powered feature will offer users actionable recommendations and manage daily tasks directly from the lock screen, focusing on privacy and security.

Stay tuned for more updates as Samsung continues to refine One UI 7.
