Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra has demonstrated exceptional performance in recent Geekbench tests. The device, model number SM-S9380, is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 12GB of RAM, delivering remarkable scores of 3049 (single-core) and 9793 (multi-core).

This variant, intended for the Chinese market, uses the same overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset as the US version. The Geekbench results suggest ongoing optimization, as earlier tests had recorded multi-core scores exceeding 10,000, setting new benchmarks for flagship devices.

    Performance Insights

The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is built on TSMC’s 3nm process, offering higher efficiency and performance.

Despite higher production costs, Samsung has reportedly frozen price increases for the Galaxy S25 series in Europe and the US.

The Chinese variant lags slightly in performance compared to earlier listings but still outperforms the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite variant intended for Europe.

    Software and Features

The Galaxy S25 Ultra will come with Android 15 pre-installed and the latest One UI 7.1. This software includes new Galaxy AI features, enhancing the user experience.

    Upcoming Launch

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 series on January 22, 2025, at an in-person event in San Jose. Alongside the S25 Ultra, Samsung may also tease other products, including the Galaxy S25 Slim, Galaxy Ring 2, XR Headset, and Smart Glasses.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s Geekbench scores highlight its potential to set new performance standards. With cutting-edge hardware and software, it is poised to be a game-changer in the flagship smartphone market.
