Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Slim, which was expected to be unveiled alongside the Galaxy S25 series on January 22, will now be delayed until May, according to a new rumor from China.

The upcoming device was teased as part of the Galaxy S25 lineup, which includes the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and the new Slim variant.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be exceptionally thin, measuring just 6.5mm, and will sit between the S25+ and S25 Ultra in terms of size. It will feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution higher than 1080p and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a premium viewing experience.

Due to its slim design, the S25 Slim is likely to feature a new silicon-carbon battery, which is lighter and more efficient. The battery capacity is expected to be around 5,000mAh.

While this delay is disappointing for fans eager to see the new device, further details are expected to be revealed at Samsung’s Unpacked event on January 22. Until then, the full release timeline for the Galaxy S25 Slim remains unclear.
