Rockstar Teases Possible Bully Update Ahead of GTA 6 Launch

Rockstar Games may be preparing a new update for Bully: Scholarship Edition, as a new development branch for the game has been spotted on SteamDB.

This could signal a potential overhaul of the classic title, possibly to address long-standing crash and freeze issues reported by players.

The new branch, labeled “qabeta,” appears to be password-protected, suggesting it may already be in the hands of testers.

While this doesn’t necessarily indicate a full game overhaul, it could be part of efforts to fix the game’s technical problems.

The timing is notable as Rockstar is gearing up for the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. The company is also reportedly planning to bring its GTA+ subscription to PC, which offers perks for GTA 5 and other Rockstar games, including Bully.

With the subscription soon expanding to PC, Rockstar may be working to ensure a smoother experience for new subscribers.

Stay tuned for official updates, though this could take some time given Rockstar’s focus on the upcoming GTA 6 trailer.
