Returnal Gets PS5 Pro Enhancements: Is It Worth the Upgrade?

Returnal, one of the top PS5 exclusives, has received a PS5 Pro enhancement, but the upgrades appear minimal.

The main improvement is a higher resolution with 2.5 times the pixels of the standard PS5 version. However, it’s unclear if there are any other notable changes.

Originally released in 2021, Returnal won Best Action Game at The Game Awards. It follows Selene, an astronaut trapped on an alien planet, with roguelike gameplay where each death resets the journey.

While Returnal now offers a higher resolution on PS5 Pro, whether this justifies the $300 price difference is still up for debate.
