Xiaomi has kicked off 2025 with the launch of the Redmi Turbo 4, a phone packed with impressive features.
This is the first device to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset, which has been specially customized for this model.
The Turbo 4 also boasts a massive 6,550 mAh battery, the largest ever on a Xiaomi phone, and supports 90W wired charging.
The Redmi Turbo 4 sports a 6.77-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1220p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach a peak brightness of 3,200 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
For selfies, it has a 20MP front camera placed in a punch-hole cutout, while an in-display fingerprint scanner adds extra security.
On the back, the phone features a 50MP main camera with a Sony LYT-600 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS).
There’s also an 8MP ultrawide lens. The device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, and is IP66/68/69 certified for dust and water resistance. Additionally, it includes an infrared port.
The Redmi Turbo 4 comes in black, white, and sea blue colors. Prices for the 12GB/256GB version start at CNY 1,999 ($273), while the 16GB/512GB version is priced at CNY 2,499 ($342).
The phone is already available for purchase in China through Xiaomi’s official channels. The Redmi Turbo 4 is expected to be launched globally as the Poco X7 Pro on January 9, 2025.
