Sony has announced the free PlayStation Plus games for May 2025. From May 6 to June 2, PS Plus members can download Ark: Survival Ascended, Balatro, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun at no extra cost.

Ark: Survival Ascended is a survival game where players tame dinosaurs, build bases, and explore dangerous worlds.

The game has been rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5 and includes all previous Ark expansions. It supports multiplayer with up to 70 players online and split-screen for 2 players.

Balatro is a unique mix of poker and roguelike gameplay. Players build powerful hands using jokers and wild cards to create massive combos and beat tough enemies.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun brings fast-paced retro-style shooting action. You play as a Space Marine fighting chaos enemies in a 90s-inspired FPS full of pixelated explosions and nonstop combat.

However, Sony also confirmed that 22 games will leave the PS Plus library next month, including GTA 5, Payday 2, and Resistance: Fall of Man. Once removed, the Resistance games will no longer be playable on modern consoles.
