Palworld is getting a brand-new expansion titled Feybreak, set to launch on December 23, 2024.
The announcement came during The Game Awards 2024, where the game didn’t earn any nominations.
Despite this, the expansion promises exciting new content, including new pals, weapons, and building styles for town creation.
Following a massive launch in January, Palworld took the gaming world by storm, especially after hitting Xbox Game Pass and becoming one of the service’s most-played third-party titles.
The game’s success continued with its release on PS5 in September, but it wasn’t without controversy.
Nintendo filed a lawsuit against Palworld, claiming infringement over the game’s Poké Ball-like capture mechanics. In response, Pocketpair updated the game earlier this month, removing the mechanic entirely.
The upcoming Feybreak expansion will include a massive new island—six times the size of the previous one, Sakurajima.
Here, players can catch new pals, challenge a faction leader in a boss fight, and explore even more of the game’s world.
Fans of the game’s quirky creatures and adventure-filled gameplay won’t have to wait long to dive back in.
