Oppo is set to launch the Find X8 Ultra in 2025, and it may change the future of Android smartphones.
The new phone is expected to feature a flat-screen design, which is different from the curved displays seen in many high-end phones today. This change could influence other Android phone makers to follow Oppo’s lead.
The Find X8 Ultra will have a 6.82-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the display in the OnePlus 13.
The screen will also support advanced features like Dolby Vision and HDRVivid for better color and brightness.
In addition to the flat screen, the phone will likely have the best rear cameras from Oppo, with Hasselblad branding.
The phone will also be thinner than its predecessor, the Find X7 Ultra, which was 9.5mm thick. Oppo is using “LIPO” technology to reduce bezels, making the phone more compact.
The Find X8 Ultra is expected to launch in China soon. It could set a new trend for premium Android phones, and other brands like Vivo and Xiaomi may follow suit.
