Nothing Launches Snake Game Widget Co-Created with Users

Nothing Snake Game Community Widgets

Nothing has launched a new app called Nothing Community Widgets, offering home screen tools and games co-created by its user community.

The first widget in the app is a modern version of the iconic Snake game, originally popularized on the Nokia 6110 over 26 years ago.

In Nothing’s version, the gameplay remains the same, where players steer the snake by eating red dots while avoiding collisions.

However, instead of buttons, the snake is controlled via directional swipes, and a double tap pauses the game.

The widget was inspired by artist Rahul Janardhanan, whose concept for Nothing OS widgets was noticed by the company.

The Snake widget is the first result of Nothing’s ongoing collaboration with its community of users, following the release of the Nothing Phone 2A Plus Community Edition earlier this year.
