Nothing has officially launched Nothing OS 3.0, its custom version of Android 15.

The update is rolling out now, bringing new features and improvements to enhance user experience.

Key Features of Nothing OS 3.0

  • Customizable Quick Settings: Easier access to frequently used features.
  • Enhanced Pop-up View: Improved multitasking capabilities.
  • Visual and Performance Enhancements: Smoother and more polished UI.
  • Updated Typography: A refreshed design for better readability.

Additionally, Nothing OS 3.0 introduces a native gallery app with advanced search, expanded editing tools, and new filters.

Shared Widgets and AI Features

The update offers Shared Widgets, allowing Nothing users to share Photo Widgets directly on customizable lock screens.

It also includes a Countdown Widget for tracking goals and an AI-powered Smart Drawer to automatically organize apps into folders.

Eligible Phones and Rollout Schedule

  • Now Available:
    • Phone (2)
    • Phone (2a)
  • Early 2025:
    • Phone (1)
    • Phone (2a) Plus
    • CMF Phone 1

The rollout for Phone (2) and Phone (2a) is staggered through the end of 2024, with other models following shortly after.

This update reflects Nothing’s focus on delivering a seamless and innovative user experience, with Android 15 at its core.
