As February 2025 nears its end, Rockstar Games has yet to confirm the exact release date for GTA 6, despite the growing excitement and rumors.
Recently, Corsair Gaming made waves when it speculated that the game would be released for consoles in the fall of 2025, with a PC version coming in early 2026.
This statement, made by Corsair’s VP of Finance & IR, Ronald van Veen, during a February 12 earnings call, fueled speculation that the company knew something fans didn’t.
However, Corsair has since clarified its remarks. A company representative told IGN that these statements were based on speculation, and they do not have any official information regarding GTA 6‘s release date from Rockstar Games or its parent company, Take-Two Interactive.
During the earnings call, van Veen said:
“GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. We’ll get a glimpse later on in the year for consoles, and my understanding is that it will come out in the fall for consoles, then early ’26 for PC.”
In the same call, Corsair’s CEO, Andy Paul, described GTA 6 as “the most anticipated and hardware-demanding game,” suggesting a potential release in 2026.
Despite these comments, GTA 6’s release date remains unclear. Take-Two Interactive recently confirmed that the game will launch in the fall of 2025, and Rockstar is expected to drop its second trailer soon. For now, fans will have to wait for official announcements from Rockstar.
