Mobile card game Marvel Snap is making its way back to app stores, starting with Google Play. Developer Second Dinner announced it began restoring the game to Google’s Android store on Friday at 6 PM PT / 3 PM ET. The company expects the game to return to both Google and Apple’s app stores as early as next week.

Marvel Snap was affected by last weekend’s TikTok outage because its original publisher, Nuverse, is owned by ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company. The game resumed service for players on Monday, and Second Dinner plans to bring more operations in-house while partnering with a new publisher. For now, Nuverse still operates and manages the game, as stated in its privacy policy.

Players affected by the outage will receive compensation. According to screenshots shared on Reddit, U.S.-based accounts or those active in the U.S. within the last 30 days will receive in-game credits, tokens, and special variants. Non-U.S. players will receive a smaller “Global Gratitude Package.”

Other apps affected by the TikTok outage, such as CapCut and Lemon8, are back online but remain unavailable on iOS and Android app stores. While President Donald Trump has directed the U.S. Attorney General not to enforce the TikTok ban, it is unclear if this protects Apple or Google from legal risks if they host these apps.

Stay tuned for further updates as Marvel Snap makes its return to app stores.
