The wait is almost over for Marvel Rivals fans! Season 1, titled Eternal Night Falls, launches on January 10, introducing exciting new content, including Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, as playable characters right from the start.

This marks the first proper season since the game’s launch, following the Season 0 phase. According to developer NetEase, Season 1 offers “double the playable content of a regular season,” featuring new heroes, maps, and balance changes.

Fantastic Four Join the Fight

The storyline revolves around the Fantastic Four battling Dracula’s sinister plans. While Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman will be available immediately, fans will need to wait for the second half of the season to play as The Thing and Human Torch.

New Maps and Updates

Season 1 also introduces three new maps:

  • Sanctum Sanctorum
  • Midtown
  • Central Park (arriving in the second half of the season)

The update also includes significant balance changes, targeting Duelists and Jeff mains, while offering improvements for other heroes.
