Linus Tech Tips (LTT), led by Linus Sebastian, has hit back at recent allegations made by Gamers Nexus (GN), calling them “false and damaging.”

The dispute, which began in August 2023, centers around concerns raised by GN regarding LTT’s video ethics and accuracy, particularly in relation to disclaimers in LTT’s content.

Background of the Dispute

In August 2023, GN published a video criticizing LTT for ethical and accuracy issues in their videos. This led to LTT halting production for a week, acknowledging some “slopiness” in their content.

Since then, GN has continued to make claims, including criticizing LTT’s handling of the Honey controversy and labeling Linus’ opinion as “harmful.”

Linus Responds

On January 24, 2025, during the WAN Show, Linus addressed the ongoing drama, claiming that GN had published “false and damaging information” about his channel. He criticized GN for failing to address the core issue and for not issuing an apology or retraction.

Linus emphasized the harm caused by the viral spread of GN’s initial video and expressed frustration that many viewers may never hear the truth due to the lack of corrections.

Apology and Conclusion

While Linus apologized for using “unprofessional language” in response to GN, he stated that he could only control his side of the situation. He expressed a desire to end the conflict, acknowledging that continuing the drama would lead to no winners.
