Lewis Hamilton made a strong comeback at the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix, finishing seventh after starting from the pit lane. The race at Spa-Francorchamps was heavily affected by rain, testing drivers’ skills and team strategies.

Hamilton, driving for Mercedes, began at the back after a power unit change forced him to start from the pits. Despite the setback, he climbed 11 positions through clever tire changes and precise overtaking. His drive earned him the fan-voted Driver of the Day award.

Max Verstappen of Red Bull won the race, with McLaren’s Lando Norris finishing second and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc taking third. Verstappen’s win strengthens his lead in the 2025 drivers’ championship. Hamilton’s seventh-place finish also added key points to his season total.

The Spa circuit, known for its 7-kilometer layout and unpredictable weather, delivered another dramatic race. Hamilton’s performance stood out, showing his experience and determination in challenging conditions. Mercedes also played a key role, with well-timed pit stops helping him gain positions.

As the Formula 1 season moves forward, Hamilton’s performance in Belgium is a reminder of his ability to fight back under pressure. Teams now look ahead to the next race in what is shaping up to be a thrilling championship battle.
