2025 is shaping up to be another exciting year for K-pop, with major agencies like JYP Entertainment, SM Entertainment, BigHit Music, and Starship Entertainment preparing to debut new groups.

    JYP Entertainment’s KickFlip
JYP Entertainment has revealed its new seven-member boy group, KickFlip. Announced during the 2024 MAMA Awards, the group is set to debut in 2025.

The name “KickFlip” is inspired by a skateboarding trick, symbolizing the group’s ambition to break conventions. The group features four finalists from the 2021 survival show LOUD, and while the debut was originally scheduled for December, it has been postponed to January 6 due to the tragic Jeju Air crash.

SM Entertainment’s New Girl Group and dearALICE
SM Entertainment is celebrating its 30th anniversary by introducing a new girl group, its first in five years since aespa.

Additionally, the agency’s first British boy group, dearALICE, will release its debut single this year. SM has also partnered with U.S. label gamma to promote dearALICE, a five-member group.

BigHit Music and Starship Entertainment’s New Boy Groups
BigHit Music is scouting talent for its next boy group, following in the footsteps of BTS and Tomorrow X Together.

Starship Entertainment is also preparing for a 2025 debut with its boy group, after holding a global audition in 2023.

    Yoon Il-sang’s UDTT and NouerA
Yoon Il-sang, a star composer, is introducing the girl group UDTT, consisting of members from survival shows like Girls Planet 999. The group is building anticipation with a webtoon and a pre-debut single.

Meanwhile, NouerA, a boy group formed from the Make Mate 1 competition, is also gearing up for its debut.

    Virtual Group SKINZ
Finally, Bridge Entertainment is preparing to debut SKINZ, a seven-member virtual boy group. SKINZ has already teased its energetic concept during the SBS Gayo Daejeon on December 25.

2025 promises to be another thrilling year for K-pop fans, with these new groups bringing fresh talent and concepts to the industry. Stay tuned for more updates as these debuts unfold!
