It’s been over a month since Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launched on Xbox and PC, but players are still encountering a frustrating, game-breaking bug.
While it’s common for games to have bugs at launch, this particular issue is preventing players from completing the game.
The bug appears during the quest “The Blessed Pearl,” one of the last missions in the game. At certain points, players need to climb ladders or squeeze through narrow gaps to progress.
However, for some reason, Indiana Jones is unable to perform these actions, leaving players stuck and unable to continue.
The issue seems to be linked to an NPC named Sunan. Some players have reported that approaching Sunan in the village of Sukhothai and repeatedly pressing the action button can fix the bug.
However, others have found themselves soft-locked in different parts of the game, unable to even reach this point.
Despite being reported shortly after the game’s release, the bug is still present. Many players, including the writer of this article, have encountered the issue themselves.
After playing for nearly 30 hours and enjoying the game, the bug has made it impossible to finish the main quest. This has left some players feeling demoralized and frustrated.
Developer MachineGames has acknowledged the problem and is looking into it, but there is no word yet on when a fix will be released.
Players are hoping for a patch soon to resolve the issue and allow them to finally complete the game.
