Xiaomi has rolled out the HyperOS 2.1 Beta, introducing a new Focus Notification feature inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island.
This feature embeds notifications directly into the notch area of the device, making it easier to interact with settings like Do Not Disturb (DND) and flashlight.
Tapping the notification takes users to detailed settings, streamlining the user experience.
The update also adds color-coded backgrounds to select notifications, making important alerts stand out in the notification panel.
Currently available for the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro in China, this update enhances the notification experience by blending Apple-inspired design with Xiaomi’s innovative features.
It’s a step forward in refining the smartphone interface, with more devices expected to join the Beta program soon.
