This program, which has been around for over seven years, rewards members with discounts on Apple Watches when they meet specific exercise goals.
To participate, you need to:
- Register for a Vitality account and complete the Vitality Health Review (VHR).
- Order your Apple Watch with an initial $25 payment.
- Track your activity by wearing the Watch and earning Vitality points to reduce the remaining cost.
The Watch’s cost is split over two years, and if you stay active, you can eliminate any remaining payments. However, if you don’t meet the required Vitality points in a month, you’ll need to pay the difference.
For the Apple Watch Series 10, you’ll need to earn 500 Vitality points per month, which is roughly 25 standard workouts or 16 advanced ones. You can also earn points through daily activities like step counts.
John Hancock’s Vitality Plus program also offers other Apple Watch models, such as the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch SE, with varying point requirements based on the model.
