Hip-hop fans are getting ready for a huge year in 2025. Many of the biggest names in rap have confirmed new albums, and a few more are expected to join the list.

Young Thug will return with his new album UY SCUTI. Drake is preparing a solo album, while Playboi Carti is dropping a project called BABY BOI. Travis Scott and CJ are teaming up for JACKBOYS 2, a sequel to their 2019 release.

A$AP Rocky will finally release his long-awaited album DON’T BE DUMB. Lil Wayne is dropping THA CARTER VI, adding another chapter to his legendary series. J. Cole is set to release THE FALL OFF, an album fans have been waiting for since 2020.

Future will release a new mixtape, and Kanye West is expected to come back with DONDA 2. LUCKI’s next project is titled DR*GS R BAD.

Hip-hop legend André 3000 has hinted at dropping new music after years away from solo work. Baby Keem will release CHILD WITH WOLVES, and Yeat is preparing A DANGEROUS LYFE. JID’s next album is called GOD DOES LOVE UGLY.

Destroy Lonely is dropping </3³, and Clipse and Pharrell are coming together for a full project named LET GOD SORT EM OUT.

Other exciting projects include Gunna’s next album (still untitled), Doechii’s debut album, Lil Baby’s DOMINIQUE, and a new album from Nas and DJ Premier. Pi’erre Bourne will drop MADE IN PARIS, and Lil Tecca’s new project DOPAMINE is also on the way.

The Alchemist is working on two special collaborations — FORENSICS with Yasiin Bey, and another project with Erykah Badu, title to be announced.

With all these heavy hitters, 2025 looks like it will be a massive year for hip-hop.
