The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to dominate the gaming world. Many publishers are delaying their game releases to avoid clashing with its debut.

Reports by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier suggest that publishers are closely monitoring Rockstar’s plans.

Despite rumors, Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two, confirmed the game is still on track for a late 2025 release.

However, Schreier noted that GTA 6 has missed several deadlines during its decade-long development, which began seriously after the 2018 release of Red Dead Redemption 2.

A Record-Breaking Launch?
If history repeats itself, GTA 6 could match or surpass the success of GTA 5. The previous game has generated $9 billion since 2013 and continues to top sales charts. Its online mode, GTA Online, brings in millions annually.

With over 225 million views on the GTA 6 trailer, fan demand is sky-high. Other publishers hope to avoid being overshadowed by what could be the biggest game launch in history.
