According to a new report from The Financial Times, Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is poised to become the most successful game of 2025, with early estimates suggesting it could rake in $1 billion in pre-sales.

These figures come from industry analysts at DFC Intelligence, who predict that the game could generate as much as $3.2 billion in the first 12 months following its launch.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed confidence in the game’s success, telling The Financial Times, “I never claim victory before it occurs.

That said, I think Rockstar Games will once again deliver something absolutely phenomenal. Certainly, the anticipation is high.”

GTA 6 is expected to surpass the success of Grand Theft Auto V, which earned $1 billion in just three days back in 2013. Now, the latest entry in the series is set to achieve that milestone even before day one.

While Rockstar has yet to reveal a concrete release date for GTA 6, the game’s first trailer has already built significant hype. Fans can expect to see the game launch in 2025.
