Goodbye Poco Launcher! Xiaomi Moves to System Launcher with HyperOS 2

Xiaomi may be phasing out the POCO Launcher in favour of its System Launcher as part of the HyperOS 2 rollout.

The POCO Launcher last received an update in July 2024, and there have been no announcements about further development.

Why Replace POCO Launcher?

Xiaomi wants a unified software experience for all its devices, including POCO, Redmi, and Xiaomi models.

The System Launcher aligns with HyperOS 2 and offers:

Over the next 10 days, Xiaomi is expected to announce POCO devices that will receive HyperOS 2. Likely candidates include:

  • POCO X6 Pro
  • POCO X5 Pro 5G
  • POCO M6 Pro
  • POCO Pad

The System Launcher will bring:
