Sucker Punch Productions has announced that Ghost of Yōtei will launch on PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025.

The game follows Atsu, a woman seeking revenge against the Yōtei Six, a gang that killed her family and left her for dead.

Set in Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido), Atsu’s journey is driven by vengeance but will reveal deeper layers as she uncovers her past.

In the latest trailer, “The Onryō’s List,” players get a glimpse of the game’s open world and combat. The game promises enhanced exploration with more freedom and variety than Ghost of Tsushima. Players will be able to track targets, claim bounties, and learn new skills.

Pre-orders for Ghost of Yōtei will begin on May 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM local time. Players can choose from several editions:

  • Standard Edition: $69.99 USD
  • Digital Deluxe Edition: $79.99 USD, includes in-game bonuses like The Snake’s armor set
  • Collector’s Edition: $249.99 USD, featuring a replica of Atsu’s Ghost mask, katana Tsuba, and a cotton sash

Pre-ordering any edition will grant exclusive in-game items, including a mask and PSN avatars.

Ghost of Yōtei promises a thrilling adventure, blending intense combat with a rich, expansive world. Fans of Ghost of Tsushima won’t want to miss this highly anticipated sequel.
