Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge was teased at its January 2025 Unpacked event, stealing the spotlight from the other S25 models. Set to release later in 2025, this phone promises to be thinner than the standard Galaxy S25 models.
However, specific details like the exact dimensions remain unknown. Early impressions suggest it will have similar height and width as the regular S25 but with a notably slimmer profile.
Unlike other S25 models with multiple rear cameras, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to feature just two cameras, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series.
While details are scarce, this might be a design decision to maintain its thin frame, potentially compromising on other features.

While a precise release date has not been confirmed, industry insider Mark Gurman speculates the S25 Edge could arrive by mid-2025, possibly around the summer, coinciding with Samsung’s typical foldable phone and Galaxy Watch announcements.
Regarding pricing, TM Roh, president of Samsung Mobile, revealed that the Galaxy S25 Edge would be priced lower than the $1,300 Galaxy S25 Ultra to make it more accessible.

Despite its name, the S25 Edge will not feature the signature curved screen seen in earlier Edge models (like the Galaxy S6, S7, and Galaxy Note).
Instead, this edition seems to focus on a slimmer profile, offering a different approach while maintaining the Edge branding.

Rumors about the Galaxy S25 Edge’s camera specs suggest it could feature a 200-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, potentially mirroring the capabilities of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
