Assassin’s Creed II fans can finally rejoice! The remaster they’ve been waiting for is here, and Ezio Auditore da Firenze has never looked better.
In 2016, Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, which included remasters of Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations.
However, many fans felt the visual quality of the remasters didn’t meet expectations. Fast forward to today, and a modded version of Assassin’s Creed II, showcased by the YouTube channel Digital Dreams, has brought the game to a whole new level.
Powered by NVIDIA RTX 3090 and reshade software, the game now runs in 8K resolution at 60 frames per second.
The stunning visuals are enhanced with ray tracing and global illumination, making the Renaissance Italy backdrop more beautiful than ever.
This upgraded version is currently available only for PC users, as it requires specific mods and a capable setup. However, fans can still enjoy Assassin’s Creed:
The Ezio Collection on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, which has been improved for current-gen consoles.
For those with a powerful PC, the modded version offers the best way to experience Assassin’s Creed II with all its breathtaking details.
