In a special Music Through Music livestream, Insomniac’s founder, Pasquale Rotella, revealed major updates for EDC Las Vegas 2025, marking its 29th edition.
This year promises a bigger and more dynamic festival experience with a brand-new theme, expanded stage designs, partnerships, and fan-favorite features.
New Theme: kineticMETROPOLIS
The festival will embrace a futuristic vibe under the new theme “kineticMETROPOLIS.” Attendees can expect a vibrant city filled with sound, energy, and connection.
Highlights include the debut of Ubuntu, a new stage in partnership with South Africa’s Bridges For Music Academy, and revamped stages such as bionicJUNGLE and quantumVALLEY.
Exciting New Stages and Experiences
- Ubuntu Stage: Focused on Afro house rhythms, featuring students and South African artists.
- bionicJUNGLE: Expanded with a larger dance floor and new stage hosts like HARD Recs and Factory 93.
- bassPOD: The iconic stage will make its final appearance this year before a new design arrives in 2026.
- quantumVALLEY: Redesigned for trance and progressive sounds, co-hosted by Interstellar and Dreamstate.
Discovery Project x Icon Collective Partnership
This year’s Discovery Project winner will receive a full-ride scholarship to Icon Collective, offering them valuable opportunities in the music production industry.
