Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way since its launch. With its exciting story, neon-filled Night City, and intense missions, it’s now one of the best sci-fi RPGs you can play. Players take on the role of V, a criminal trying to rise through the ranks of the city, using advanced tech and skills to survive.
But what happens when you’ve already finished the game and its Phantom Liberty expansion? For PC players, the answer is mods, and this new one is a big deal.
Created by DarkFortuneTeller, the Dark Future mod turns Cyberpunk 2077 into a survival game. It challenges players to keep V physically and mentally healthy, making rest, relaxation, and exploring apartments an important part of gameplay. It encourages players to stay involved with the world of Night City even after completing the story.
Unfortunately, like most mods, Dark Future is only available on PC. Console players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 can continue to enjoy the base game and its official content.
