Anthropic Claude AI

Anthropic has launched a new feature for Claude AI that allows users to customize the chatbot’s writing style.

The update enables more personalized and flexible communication across different contexts.

Users can now choose from three preset styles:

  • Formal: Clear and polished text
  • Concise: Shorter, more direct responses
  • Explanatory: Detailed, educational replies

Additionally, users can create custom styles by uploading sample content that reflects their preferred communication approach.

This feature aims to make AI-generated text feel more natural and tailored to individual needs.

Scott White, Claude’s Product leader, explained that the update allows users to set preferences for different writing contexts, from in-depth explanations to quick, precise answers.

While innovative, the feature is not unique to Claude. Competitors like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Apple Intelligence offer similar style customization options.

The update represents a step towards more personalized AI interactions, allowing users to quickly adjust the tone and detail of AI-generated content across various writing tasks.
